What is Foremerge?

Catch intent conflicts before code conflicts. The open-source coordination protocol for coding agents, built above Git.

Agents declare intent, semantic scope, and operation (symbol:PaymentService=replace) before writing code. Deterministic rules raise findings when two declared plans collide, with the rule that fired and a suggested resolution, while the work is still a plan. Claims are advisory leases, never locks. Acceptance is gated on a verification run Foremerge executes itself against the exact candidate fingerprint.
