Publicsofttools MCP is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI agents (Claude, Cursor, Windsurf) access to 14 utility tools from PublicSoftTools, including QR code generation, hashing, UUIDs, base64 encoding/decoding, password generation, IP geolocation, SSL certificate checking, DNS lookups, WHOIS lookups, and PDF operations (compress, merge, split, convert to Word, unlock).

How to use Publicsofttools MCP?

Install via npx publicsofttools-mcp. Requires Node.js 18+ and a free API key from https://www.publicsofttools.com/account/api-keys. Configure your MCP client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, or Windsurf) by adding a JSON block with the command, arguments, and the environment variable PST_API_KEY.
