What is Mftool Mcp?

Mftool Mcp is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that gives any LLM client access to publicly available Indian Mutual Fund data via the mftool library. It enables users to query live NAVs, historical returns, scheme details, and performance comparisons through natural language.

Install Mftool Mcp using either uvx mftool-mcp (recommended, no install needed) or pip install mftool-mcp followed by mftool-mcp. Then configure your MCP client (e.g., Claude Desktop or Cursor) by adding the server entry to its config JSON and restarting the client.
