概要

What is Kenya Payments Mcp?

A remote MCP server that lets any AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor…) accept payments in Kenya via M-Pesa, cards, and bank transfer through Flutterwave’s hosted checkout. It is a stateless translation layer — funds flow directly from buyer to merchant, and the server never holds funds or stores credentials.

How to use Kenya Payments Mcp?

Connect any MCP client to the endpoint https://mcp-ke.wishpool.app/mcp and set the x-flutterwave-secret-key header to your Flutterwave secret key. Use the create_payment_link tool to generate a KES hosted-checkout link and query_payment_status to check if a payment has been completed.

Key features of Kenya Payments Mcp

  • Accept M-Pesa, cards, and bank transfers in Kenya.
  • Stateless translation layer with no database.
  • Remote server accessible via Streamable HTTP.
  • Part of a 30-country family at mcp.wishpool.app.
  • Two tools: create payment links and query payment status.
  • Zero runtime dependencies; Node.js ≥ 18 required.

Use cases of Kenya Payments Mcp

  • Let an AI assistant generate a checkout link for a Kenyan customer paying via M-Pesa.
  • Automate payment status checks for orders placed through an agent conversation.
  • Build a hands‑off payment acceptance flow without managing PCI‑DSS compliance.

よくある質問

1

What payment methods does it support?

M-Pesa (the rail Kenya actually uses), cards, and bank transfer via Flutterwave’s hosted checkout.

2

Is Kenya Payments Mcp a payment gateway or a platform?

It is a stateless translation layer — it never holds funds or stores credentials. Money flows directly from buyer to merchant through Flutterwave.

3

What are the runtime requirements?

Node.js version 18 or later. The server has zero runtime dependencies.

4

How does authentication work?

The client must pass a `x-flutterwave-secret-key` header containing the Flutterwave secret key (test keys start with `FLWSECK_TEST-`, production keys with `FLWSECK-`).

5

Does this server store any data?

No. The server is completely stateless and has no database — it only forwards requests and responses to and from Flutterwave.
