What is CloudBase?

CloudBase (腾讯云开发) is Tencent Cloud's backend platform for AI-built apps: databases, cloud functions, file storage, static hosting, identity and permissions in one place, with nothing to provision or patch.

This MCP server gives your coding agent 44 tools across that stack — create a database, run queries, deploy a function, upload assets, publish a site — without leaving the editor.

On first use the client opens a browser window: sign in with your Tencent Cloud account, pick a CloudBase environment (create one if you do not have any), approve. No SecretId or SecretKey, no env_id to paste.

Authentication is OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration, so nothing needs to be requested from us in advance.

Local mode runs over stdio and authenticates with a CloudBase API key.
