What is Azure DevOps MCP Server?

An MCP server that enables AI assistants like Claude to interact with Azure DevOps APIs. It supports both Azure DevOps Services (cloud) and Azure DevOps Server (on-premises), making it suitable for environments where the official Microsoft server may not work.

How to use Azure DevOps MCP Server?

Install via npx -y @tiberriver256/mcp-server-azure-devops, set environment variables (AZURE_DEVOPS_ORG_URL, AZURE_DEVOPS_AUTH_METHOD, etc.), and add the configuration to your Claude Desktop or Cursor AI MCP settings file. Examples for PAT and Azure Identity authentication are provided in the README.
