概要

Zillow property research for your AI agent

HasData's Zillow MCP server connects AI assistants to public Zillow listings through the Model Context Protocol. Search homes for sale, rentals and sold listings, then retrieve individual property details as structured JSON. Your agent can turn the results into a shortlist or a side-by-side comparison with source links.

The server is hosted by HasData. Connect Claude, Cursor, Windsurf or another compatible MCP client without running a scraper or deploying a server. A Zillow account is not required to read the public listing data.

What you can do

Find homes that match your criteria

Search a location and filter by price, bedrooms, bathrooms, property type and other supported criteria. Results include listing URLs, prices, addresses and property characteristics when available.

Find homes for sale in Austin, TX with at least three bedrooms under $600,000. Sort by newest and show a shortlist with prices, square footage and listing links.

Inspect a shortlisted property

Use a listing's URL to retrieve its property details. Explore price and tax history, Zillow estimates, school information and listing-agent details where the source page provides them.

Take the first property from the shortlist. Summarize its price history, tax history and Zillow estimate. Include the source URL and flag missing fields.

Compare rental listings

Search rentals using supported price, property-type and pet filters. Have your agent compare the returned homes and inspect selected properties in more detail.

Find rental condos in Austin that allow cats. Compare the three cheapest returned listings by rent, bedrooms and square footage, with links.

Tools

Two read-only tools cover the search-to-detail workflow.

Zillow listing search

hasdata_zillow_listing_getRealEstateListings

Search by location keyword and listing type: forSale, forRent or sold. Supported filters include price, beds, baths, home type, size and days on Zillow. Sorting and pagination let an agent work through the results.

Returns a properties list, search information and pagination. Use the property URLs in the next tool. Listing parameters and response fields.

Zillow property details

hasdata_zillow_property_getPropertyDetails

Read a property by its Zillow URL. Returned data can include price, beds, baths, living area, year built, description, photos, price history, tax history, schools, agent information and Zillow's sale and rental estimates. Availability varies by property.

Optional extractAgentEmails attempts to retrieve the listing agent's email and adds 5 credits to the call. Property parameters and response fields.

Connect the server

Remote endpoint:

https://mcp.hasdata.com/api/mcp?apis=zillow

Use streamable HTTP with your HasData API key in the x-api-key header. For example, in Cursor:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "zillow": {
      "url": "https://mcp.hasdata.com/api/mcp?apis=zillow",
      "headers": {
        "x-api-key": "YOUR_HASDATA_API_KEY"
      }
    }
  }
}

Clients with compatible OAuth connector support can add the endpoint and sign in instead. For clients requiring stdio, use the @hasdata/zillow-mcp npm launcher or hasdata-zillow-mcp Python launcher. These connect to HasData's hosted server; they do not run a local Zillow scraper. Client-specific setup instructions.

Free tier and pricing

The free tier includes 1,000 credits every month, with no credit card required. Both Zillow tools cost 5 credits per successful call at the base rate, so the allowance covers 200 base-rate calls if used entirely for Zillow.

One listing search followed by three property-detail calls uses 20 credits. Enabling agent-email extraction increases a property-detail call from 5 to 10 credits. A successful search with no matches still counts as a call.

Paid plans start at $49 per month. See current HasData pricing for plan allowances and limits. The repository and launchers are MIT-licensed; the hosted service uses HasData credits.

Common questions

Is this an official Zillow product?

No. This MCP server is maintained by HasData and is not affiliated with Zillow. It reads publicly accessible Zillow.com listing pages, not private account data or an authorized MLS feed.

Do I need a Zillow API key?

No. Use a HasData account and API key, or sign in through a compatible OAuth connector. No Zillow account credentials are required.

Does every listing include price history and schools?

No. Use listing search to find properties, then the property-details tool for deeper information. Some fields may be absent from the source page; agents should report missing values rather than fill them in.

Are Zillow estimates confirmed property values?

No. A Zestimate or rental estimate is Zillow's estimate, not an appraisal, confirmed sale price or guaranteed rent. The server retrieves these values; it does not independently value properties.

Can the server contact agents or update listings?

No. Both tools are read-only. They do not post listings, send inquiries, submit leads or access a user's saved homes. Scheduled monitoring and storing historical snapshots require your own application or agent workflow.
