What is TrollWall AI MCP?

TrollWall AI MCP is the official remote MCP server for TrollWall AI, the AI-powered comment moderation platform. It connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code or any MCP client to your TrollWall AI account across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Messenger.

Your agent can:

• hide toxic comments and mute trolls
• tag and triage conversations
• draft on-brand replies with the Engagement Agent
• report on moderation and engagement

Every action follows the permissions you already have in TrollWall AI. It's a remote server, so there's nothing to install.

Connection

Transport: Streamable HTTP. Authentication: OAuth with your TrollWall AI account. No API key needed.

Setup

Claude.ai / Claude Desktop Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste https://mcp.trollwall.ai/mcp → sign in with TrollWall.

ChatGPT At chatgpt.com, turn on Developer mode (Settings → Security and login), then add https://mcp.trollwall.ai/mcp as a new connector and sign in with TrollWall.

Safe by design

• Your permissions, not new ones. Every write checks your per-account rights. A Viewer can read but can't hide, reply or mute.
• Dry-run visibility changes. Setting executePlatformVisibilityChange: false updates TrollWall AI only, without touching the platform.
• Drafts, not auto-posts. AI replies are suggested and saved as drafts. Nothing is published to a platform by the agent on its own.
• Guarded deletes. delete_tag only removes tags with zero usage.

Typical workflows

• "What's toxic on our Instagram today?" The agent filters comments by toxicity and time, then hides them in bulk.
• "Who are our repeat trolls this month?" It lists authors, reviews their stats and mutes them.
• "Reply to every unanswered question on yesterday's post." It filters for questions, gets Engagement Agent suggestions and saves them as drafts.
• "How did moderation perform last week?" It pulls the engagement chart, moderation agent hide ratios and reply activity.

FAQ

Does it require authentication? Yes. The first time you connect, your client opens a browser window to sign in with your TrollWall AI account.

Which platforms are supported? Facebook (including ad and dark posts), Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook Messenger and API-connected accounts.

Can the agent do anything I can't do in the app? No. The server applies the same subscription and per-account permissions as the TrollWall AI app.

Does it post or schedule content? No. It works with comments only. It doesn't publish or schedule posts.
