Calculate the total landed cost for a product being shipped internationally. Returns a detailed breakdown of import duties, VAT/GST, customs fees, and the final total price the buyer will pay. Supports 240 countries and territories. Includes China CBEC tax, Mexico IEPS, Brazil cascading tax, India IGST, and processing fees for 12 countries. When providing productName for auto-classification, include material for accurate HS code results.

Classify a product into an HS (Harmonized System) code for customs using the v3.3 GRI pipeline. Supports 9-field input for maximum accuracy. material is REQUIRED for the v3.3 pipeline — without it, classification will fail with 400 error. Returns HS code, description, confidence, decision path, and GRI rules applied.

Check import restrictions for a product in a destination country. Returns prohibited items, required permits, watched items, and carrier restrictions. Essential for compliance screening before shipping.

Comprehensive shipment screening: calculates landed cost, checks restrictions, and identifies trade remedies — all in one call. Use this for a complete pre-shipment compliance and cost analysis. Include material for accurate HS classification.

Screen a person or entity against sanctions and denied-party lists. Checks OFAC SDN, BIS Entity List, CSL, and other databases (21,301 entries from 19 sources). Essential for trade compliance.

Look up Free Trade Agreements between two countries. Covers 63 FTAs including USMCA, RCEP, CPTPP, KORUS, EU-UK TCA. Returns preferential duty rates if an FTA applies.

Given per-state sales amounts (and optional transaction counts), determine which states have triggered economic nexus (exceeded threshold), which are in the warning zone (≥80% of threshold), and which are safe. Based on post-Wayfair (2018) state thresholds — most states use $100K in sales or 200 transactions. California/Texas use $500K sales only. New York/Connecticut require both sales AND transaction thresholds. Alaska/Delaware/Montana/New Hampshire/Oregon have no state sales tax.
