A comprehensive Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for the Starknet blockchain. It enables AI agents to query blockchain data, manage wallets, and interact with smart contracts using natural language, serving developers and AI assistants like Claude and GPT.

How to use Starknet MCP Server?

Run the server in stdio mode with npx @mcpdotdirect/starknet-mcp-server or in HTTP mode with npx @mcpdotdirect/starknet-mcp-server http. Install globally via npm install -g @mcpdotdirect/starknet-mcp-server or add as a project dependency. Configure it in Cursor, Claude CLI, or any MCP-compatible client by specifying the command or URL.

Bun 1.0.0 or higher (recommended) or Node.js 18.0.0 or higher.

Which Starknet networks are supported?

The server supports both Mainnet and Sepolia testnet. The default network is Mainnet.

Can I run the server without installing it?

Yes. You can use `npx @mcpdotdirect/starknet-mcp-server` to run the latest version directly without permanent installation.

Does the server support StarknetID instead of raw addresses?

Yes. Every tool that accepts Starknet addresses also supports StarknetID, automatically resolving human-readable identities to addresses.

What transport modes are available?

The server can run in stdio mode (for CLI tools and AI assistants) or HTTP mode with Server-Sent Events (SSE) for web applications, defaulting to port 3000.
