What does the MCP server do?

Kin answers repository questions from the graph instead of raw file search: locate a symbol by meaning, pull a structured context pack around any entity, trace data flow across files, and measure the blast radius of a change before it lands. Every response carries a freshness and coverage envelope, so the agent knows how much of the repository the answer covers.
