What is Biomcp?

Biomcp is a read‑only biomedical MCP server that connects to over 50 biomedical databases including PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, ClinVar, gnomAD, OncoKB, Reactome, KEGG, UniProt, PharmGKB, CPIC, OpenFDA, Monarch Initiative, GWAS Catalog, and more. It is designed for researchers and clinicians who need unified access to diverse biomedical data.

How to use Biomcp?

Pull the Docker image with docker pull jackgucci/biomcp:0.8.22 and run the container exposing port 8080: docker run -d -p 8080:8080 jackgucci/biomcp:0.8.22. Verify the server is running by testing the health endpoint: curl http://localhost:8080/health.
