Clone the repository, build with mvn clean install, download and license the CData JDBC Driver for FTP, generate a JDBC connection string, create a .prp configuration file, then add the server to your MCP client’s config (e.g., claude_desktop_config.json). Run the server using java -jar CDataMCP-jar-with-dependencies.jar /path/to/file.prp – it uses stdio transport and must run on the same machine as the client.
