Python 3.8 or higher, with dependencies: `mcp >= 1.0.0`, `yfinance >= 0.2.18`, `pandas >= 2.0.0`, and `ta >= 0.10.2`.

How is caching handled?

Company info, news, options, holders, and recommendations are cached for 5–60 minutes. Real-time data caches for 1 minute. Fundamentals cache for 10 minutes.

What transport and authentication are used?

The server uses the MCP protocol’s standard stdio transport. No authentication is required; data is fetched from public Yahoo Finance endpoints.
