What is Edgarstack?

Edgarstack is an MCP server that turns SEC EDGAR’s XBRL and full‑text search data into eight tools Claude can call directly, including ticker‑to‑CIK lookup, standardized financials, computed ratios, peer comparisons, recent filings, filing section extraction, filing‑over‑filing diffs, and full‑text search across every SEC filer since 2001. It uses Streamable HTTP transport and authenticates via an API key embedded in the connector URL.

How to use Edgarstack?

Set the connector URL to https://edgarstack.com/mcp/<your-api-key> and configure it as an MCP server in your Claude client. A REST API is also available under /api/v1 using the same key via the X-API-Key header.
