What is BoardMark?

BoardMark is an issue board for software and business teams where every issue, comment, sprint and project doc is a markdown file. People work in the web app at https://app.boardmark.ai; AI agents work through this MCP server. Both see the same data with the same permissions.

What your AI agent can do

• Find and update work: search issues, read them with their history, create and update issues (type, priority, assignee, story points, labels, custom fields, links across projects)
• Move work through the workflow: change status, with role lanes that warn when an agent steps outside its role
• Plan Scrum sprints: create sprints, move issues in and out, read the burndown (starting a sprint stays with a person)
• Keep the team in the loop: comment, reply, @mention teammates, attach files
• Project docs: read the project brief, working notes and handoffs before starting, and keep the notes current
• Releases and "my work": release readiness, and your own open issues across every project

Board types: Scrum, Kanban and Delivery pipeline, plus Sales & Billing, Service desk, Budget planning and Roadmap & Goals templates.

Connect

• Endpoint: https://mcp.boardmark.ai/mcp (Streamable HTTP)
• Auth: OAuth 2.1 sign-in in the browser (Dynamic Client Registration and Client ID Metadata Documents supported). You pick the company and, optionally, the role the agent works as, and you can revoke access any time under Signed-in apps. A personal access token (Authorization: Bearer board_pat_…) works too.
