概要

What is Chess?

Chess is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that provides chess FEN (Forsyth‑Edwards Notation) validation and ASCII board visualization. It is designed for integration into MCP‑compatible AI assistants, enabling them to interpret and display chess positions from FEN strings.

How to use Chess?

Configure the server with an XBY‑APIKEY from xiaobenyang.com. Use one of three transports (SSE, streamable HTTP, or STDIO) as shown in the sample configurations. Invoke the visualize_fen tool to convert a FEN string into an ASCII chess board.
