如何使用 matrix-mcp-server？

通过 npm 安装依赖，构建项目，在 .env 文件中配置环境变量，然后使用 npm start 启动服务器。客户端通过 HTTP 传输连接，并在请求头中提供 Matrix 用户 ID、主服务器 URL 和访问令牌（或使用 OAuth）。服务器提供两种认证模式：用于生产环境的 OAuth 模式和用于测试的开发模式。

运行环境有哪些要求？

需要 Node.js 20+ 和 npm、可访问的 Matrix 主服务器（Synapse、Dendrite 等），以及 Claude Desktop 或安装了 MCP 扩展的 VS Code 等 MCP 客户端。

用户和房间数据存放在哪里？

所有数据都存放在 Matrix 主服务器上。服务器会创建临时的 Matrix 客户端，由它们完成认证、执行操作并自动清理；不会在本地存储任何数据。

权限和安全如何处理？

所有 Matrix 客户端都是临时的，OAuth 避免了令牌的直接暴露，房间的权限等级和权限设置都会得到遵守，输入校验使用 Zod schema。CORS 也可以配置。

可以不使用 OAuth 来运行 matrix-mcp-server 吗？

可以。在开发模式（ENABLE_OAUTH=false）下，你可以直接使用 Matrix 访问令牌，但不建议在生产环境中这样做。
