Basic information
Zero is an AI-native CRM for startups and scaleups that combines a CRM of record, lead search, enrichment, sequences and reporting. Its official remote MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants work with your workspace's records, pipelines, email, calendar and outreach through OAuth sign-in.

Zero MCP Server is the official remote MCP server for Zero, an AI-native CRM for startups and scaleups, letting Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants search, create, update and manage CRM data in your Zero workspace.
Zero combines a CRM of record (companies, contacts, deals, tasks, notes, emails and meetings) with a lead database, enrichment, email and LinkedIn sequences, reporting and agents. Zero's docs describe the MCP server as the same one Zero's own agents run on, so an external assistant can work with the same records and pipelines your team sees in the app.
You need a Zero workspace (a 14-day trial is available, no credit card required). The connection URL is:
https://api.zero.inc/mcp
It is also shown in Zero under Settings → AI & Agents → Zero MCP, together with the tools your assistant will get. Authentication is OAuth: on first connection a browser window opens, you sign in to Zero, pick a workspace and authorize. There are no API keys to manage, and the server only reaches the workspace you chose.
claude mcp add --transport http zero https://api.zero.inc/mcp
Run /mcp in Claude Code and authenticate the server to complete sign-in in the browser.
Go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it Zero and paste https://api.zero.inc/mcp. Click Connect and sign in to Zero when prompted.
Add the server to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or a project .cursor/mcp.json):
{
"mcpServers": {
"zero": {
"url": "https://api.zero.inc/mcp"
}
}
}
Add it to .vscode/mcp.json:
{
"servers": {
"zero": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://api.zero.inc/mcp"
}
}
}
Zero's docs recommend that the assistant calls get_instructions and get_workspace_metadata at the start of every conversation. They return the data model, fields, pipeline stages and custom properties of your workspace; without them the other tools work blind.
According to Zero's docs, the tools include find_deals, find_contacts, add_contact, edit_deal, find_company_activities, lead_search_companies and sequences_create_draft. Your client receives the full list and parameters automatically when it connects.
get_instructions and get_workspace_metadata first; Zero's docs say the other tools depend on them.find_* tool and requiring confirmation for anything that creates, updates or deletes.verify_contact_emails uses workspace credits, so check your remaining credits.Yes. It is provided by Zero at `https://api.zero.inc/mcp` and documented at docs.zero.inc/developers/mcp.
No. Authentication is OAuth: you sign in to Zero in the browser and pick a workspace. Zero's docs say there are no API keys to manage for MCP.
Zero lists a Pro plan at $60 per seat per month launch price (held for the first 12 months on annual billing, then $77), with 500 credits per seat a month, and a custom-priced Scale plan with a 10-seat minimum. A 14-day trial with 2,000 credits is available.
Any MCP-capable assistant. Zero's docs point to Claude custom connectors and ChatGPT apps; Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code work with the remote URL as well.
Sequence drafts stay inactive until you activate them from an approved activation plan, and Zero's product asks for approval before anything reaches a customer. You can also require confirmation per tool in your client.
Yes. Workspace admins can add third-party MCP servers in Settings → Connections → MCP Connectors, making their tools available in Zero's Chat, agents and AI properties.
The Zero remote MCP server is a hosted Model Context Protocol endpoint at https://api.zero.inc/mcp, so AI assistants can connect to it without installing or running anything locally.
Add the endpoint https://api.zero.inc/mcp to any MCP-compatible client such as Claude Code, Cursor, or VS Code. The setup snippets on this page configure each client in one step.
Yes. Zero uses OAuth: the first time you connect, your MCP client opens a browser window to sign in and authorize access, then reuses the credentials for future sessions.
Zero exposes a streamable-http endpoint, the transport used by remote MCP servers and supported by all major MCP clients.
The 9apes MCP server lets an AI assistant read the GitHub Actions data 9apes already collects for your organization: runs, jobs, steps, and their durations. Ask it why a build got slower, which jobs take the longest, or
