Overview

What is TruLata?

TruLata is AI marketing software for service businesses: contractors and trades, practices and professional firms. It writes and publishes the content, runs the Google and Meta ads and answers the leads, and the owner sees every lead with its source and cost on one dashboard.

This remote MCP server lets your AI assistant work with your own TruLata account: read your leads, find one by email or phone, update its status, add a new one, and see your published blog posts.

Tools

ToolWhat it does
get_accountThe account this connection opens: company name, plan and dashboard link
list_leadsYour leads, newest first, with contact details, message, source and status
find_leadFind leads from the last year by exact email address or phone number
create_leadAdd a lead to your Leads tab, the way a website form message arrives
set_lead_statusMark a lead contacted, quoted, won, lost or not a lead, with an optional note
list_postsYour published blog posts, newest first

Try asking

  • "Show me the leads that came in this week and where each one came from."
  • "Find the lead with the phone number 405 555 0123 and mark it quoted."
  • "Add a lead for Dana Ruiz, dana@example.com, asking about a water heater install."
  • "Which blog posts did we publish this month?"

Connect

Server URL: https://api.trulata.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP)

Sign in: OAuth. Your client opens TruLata's sign in page, you approve, and the connection opens your own account. There is no key to paste. You need a TruLata account: start one here.

Claude: add TruLata from Claude's connector directory, or add a custom connector with the server URL.

Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "trulata": { "type": "http", "url": "https://api.trulata.com/mcp" }
  }
}

Gemini CLI: gemini extensions install https://github.com/TruLata/trulata-mcp

Clients that run local servers only: npx -y mcp-remote https://api.trulata.com/mcp

Your data

The connection only opens the account you sign in to. Reading tools read; create_lead and set_lead_status are the only tools that change anything, and only on your own Leads tab. Disconnect from your client or from TruLata at any time.
