Remote MCP Server on Cloudflare is a Model Context Protocol server that runs on Cloudflare Workers with OAuth login, enabling AI clients to call tools remotely via HTTP.
Clone the repository, install dependencies, and run locally with npx nx dev remote-mcp-server. Deploy to Cloudflare using npx wrangler kv namespace create OAUTH_KV and npm run deploy. Connect clients like the MCP Inspector or Claude Desktop using the /sse endpoint and the mcp-remote proxy.
npm run deploy.Clone the repo, run `npm install`, then `npx nx dev remote-mcp-server` and open `http://localhost:8787/` in a browser.
Start the inspector with `npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector`, set Transport Type to `SSE`, enter `http://localhost:8787/sse` (or your remote URL), and log in with any email/password.
Edit your Claude configuration file to add an MCP server with `command: "npx"`, `args: ["mcp-remote", "http://localhost:8787/sse"]` (or your remote URL). A browser will open for login.
Create a KV namespace with `npx wrangler kv namespace create OAUTH_KV`, add the ID to `wrangler.jsonc`, then run `npm run deploy`.
Restart Claude, try connecting directly with `npx mcp-remote <url>`, or clear `~/.mcp-auth` with `rm -rf ~/.mcp-auth`.
