Overview

What is QRStuff MCP Server?

QRStuff MCP Server connects AI assistants to QRStuff through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Create, manage and measure QR codes from a conversation instead of switching between your AI assistant and a dashboard.

What you can do

  • Create QR codes for websites, text, Wi-Fi networks, contacts, files, events and other supported content types.
  • Customize QR codes with colours, shapes, logos and frames.
  • Create dynamic QR codes and update their destination or design.
  • Create short links, track clicks and generate QR codes for those links.
  • Build landing pages, digital business cards and restaurant menus.
  • Create GS1 Digital Link and Digital Product Passport QR codes.
  • Generate QR codes in bulk using spreadsheet-based workflows.
  • Find and organize QR codes in projects.
  • Read QR codes from images.
  • Explore scan totals, unique visitors, countries, regions, devices and performance over time.

Available features depend on your QRStuff account and plan.

Connect your AI assistant

The server uses Streamable HTTP.

MCP endpoint:

https://mcp.qrstuff.ai/mcp

Add the endpoint to an MCP-compatible client that supports remote servers and OAuth, then sign in with your QRStuff account when prompted.

Example configuration for clients that support this format:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "qrstuff-mcp-server": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://mcp.qrstuff.ai/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Configuration details may vary by client. OAuth-capable clients handle sign-in; do not put your QRStuff password in the configuration.

Compatible AI tools

Use QRStuff with ChatGPT, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, Claude custom connectors, and other clients that support remote MCP connections with OAuth. Setup steps vary by platform.

Example requests

  • "Create a QR code for my website with a purple design."
  • "Show my top QR codes by scans this month."
  • "Shorten this link and create a QR code for it."
  • "Build a digital business card and give me its QR code."
  • "Create QR codes in bulk from my spreadsheet."

Account and authentication

A QRStuff account is required to connect through OAuth. Account-based QR codes and other created items are saved to your QRStuff account. Available features and limits depend on your plan.
