PixVerse MCP

@PixVerseAI

Official PixVerse Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables interaction with powerful AI video generation APIs.

Overview

What is PixVerse MCP?

PixVerse MCP is a tool that allows you to access PixVerse's latest video generation models via applications that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), such as Claude or Cursor. It enables you to generate high-quality videos—including text-to-video, image-to-video, and more—directly from your AI assistant.

How to use PixVerse MCP?

Install Python 3.10+, UV/UVX, and obtain a PixVerse API key from the PixVerse Platform. Configure your MCP client (e.g., Claude for Desktop or Cursor) by adding a JSON entry with "command": "uvx", "args": ["pixverse-mcp"], and your API key under the environment variable PIXVERSE_API_KEY. Restart or refresh the MCP client to start using text-to-video generation.

Key features of PixVerse MCP

  • Text-to-video generation from natural language prompts
  • Image-to-video generation (via API, not yet via MCP)
  • Flexible parameter control (aspect ratio, duration, quality, motion mode)
  • One-click video for themes or styles without detailed descriptions
  • Co-creation with AI assistants (Claude, Cursor) for scene descriptions or storyboards
  • Supports resolutions from 360p to 1080p and aspect ratios from 9:16 to 16:9

Use cases of PixVerse MCP

  • Generate a sunset video from a text description like “Golden sunlight reflects on the water.”
  • Create a structured video from a shot-by-shot storyboard with specific parameters.
  • Quickly produce a themed video (e.g., futuristic neon lights) with a one-click command.
  • Use an AI assistant to reinterpret a photo into a retro-style video prompt.
  • Design a short video concept from a forest path photo as an opening movie scene.
