What is MCP Google Spreadsheet?
MCP Google Spreadsheet is a Model Context Protocol server that allows AI assistants such as Claude Desktop to operate files in Google Drive and Google Spreadsheets. It provides tools for listing, copying, and renaming files, as well as reading, updating, and managing spreadsheet data.
How to use MCP Google Spreadsheet?
Install with go install github.com/kazz187/mcp-google-spreadsheet@latest. Set environment variables MCPGS_CLIENT_SECRET_PATH, MCPGS_TOKEN_PATH, and MCPGS_FOLDER_ID, then run the mcp-google-spreadsheet binary. For Claude Desktop, add the server configuration to claude_desktop_config.json with the same environment variables.
