What is Instagram MCP Server by CData?
This is a read-only Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that uses the CData JDBC Driver for Instagram to expose Instagram data as relational SQL models. It allows large language models (such as Claude Desktop) to query live Instagram data through natural language questions, without needing SQL.
How to use Instagram MCP Server by CData?
Clone the repository, build the JAR with mvn clean install, download and license the CData JDBC Driver for Instagram, generate a JDBC connection string, and create a .prp properties file. Then add the server to your Claude Desktop configuration (claude_desktop_config.json) and restart the client.
