Overview

What is Emailit MCP?

The official hosted MCP server for Emailit, the email delivery platform for transactional email, SMTP, and email marketing. It lets your AI assistant work with your Emailit workspaces.

What can it do?

  • Send transactional email from your verified domains, and schedule, retry, forward, or cancel sends.
  • Check whether a message was delivered, opened, or clicked, and find out why an email bounced or was marked as spam.
  • Add and verify sending domains with step-by-step DNS help.
  • Manage contacts, audiences, suppressions, templates, forms, and webhooks.
  • Draft and send campaigns, run automations, verify email lists, and read DMARC reports.

135 tools cover the whole Emailit API. Each has a title and read-only, destructive, and open-world hints, so your client can ask you before anything sends email or deletes data.

How to connect

Add https://api.emailit.com/mcp as a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP) in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, or any MCP client:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "emailit": {
      "url": "https://api.emailit.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Sign in with your Emailit account through OAuth 2.1 and choose which workspaces to allow: all of them, or only the ones you select. Change or revoke access anytime under Account > Connected apps. Headless clients can send an Emailit API key as Authorization: Bearer <key> instead.

Setup guides for each client: https://emailit.com/docs/mcp/
