Overview

Upload once. Find, use and share across your AI workflows.

drop.media is one media library for you and every AI agent you work with. Anything you or your agents add, from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, the terminal or the web, lands in the same place. Every other agent can then find it, use it and share a link to it, with a URL and a ready-made Markdown snippet for pull requests, issues, docs and chat.

What agents can do

  • list_files / get_file: find anything in the library, whoever added it. Search matches every word in names and AI prompts, so "q3 revenue" finds q3-revenue.png.
  • upload_file: add a file from a URL or base64 content.
  • create_upload_link: get a one-time curl -T URL, so big files never pass through the model.
  • share_file: make a fresh signed link to a private file, valid from minutes up to 7 days.
  • delete_file: clean up after itself.
  • generate_image: create an image from a prompt and save it to the library, with the prompt (paid plans).

How it works

  • One library, every way in: a remote MCP server, a CLI, a REST API, and a web media library to browse, search and tidy everything your agents saved.
  • Public files get a permanent CDN link. Private files are only reachable through signed links that expire.
  • Any file can be set to delete itself, for example expires_in: "7d".
  • Connecting: a remote Streamable HTTP server at https://drop.media/mcp. Sign in with OAuth 2.1 (no key needed in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code) or use a scoped API key.
  • Each key can be limited to read, write, delete or generate, and revoked at any time.

Pricing

  • Free: your media library with a verified email, plus 10 MB files, 50 uploads in total, 500 MB of storage and files kept up to 30 days.
  • Standard ($9.99/month): 100 MB uploads, 10 GB of storage, permanent links and 50 AI images a month.
  • Pro ($29.99/month): 500 MB uploads, plus 100 GB of storage and 200 AI images included, then usage-based.
