10List all Revit models available on the server. Returns each model's name. Call this first to discover what's available before selecting or converting.
Upload a Revit model to the server. Requires a demo (dk_) or full (sk_) API key — not available on the free public demo key. When the server is running remotely (e.g. Heroku), only fileUrl works — provide a public download link from Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc. Local filePath only works when the MCP server is running on the same machine as your files.
Select a model by name or keyword to make it the active model for this session.
Submit a Revit model for conversion to XKT format using Autodesk Design Automation. Free tier returns a sample model. Demo tier limited to 5 total conversions.
Delete a Revit model you previously uploaded. You can only delete models you uploaded yourself — admin and other users' models cannot be deleted.
Check the status of a Revit-to-XKT conversion job. Call every 30-60 seconds until status is "complete" or "failed".
Export the active Revit model to IFC or DWG format via APS Model Derivative. Triggers the job and returns immediately — use get_export_status to poll progress and retrieve download links. Not available on free tier.
Check the status of a model export (IFC or DWG). When complete, returns direct download URLs valid for 60 minutes.
Ask a question about the active model's BIM data. Demo tier: 30 messages total. Free tier: 10 messages per session.
Search for BIM elements in the active model by category and/or keyword.
