Godot MCP is a Model Context Protocol server that bridges AI assistants (such as Claude, Cursor, and Cline) with the Godot game engine, enabling them to launch editors, run projects, manage scenes, and capture debug output through a standardized interface.
Install by cloning the repository, running npm install and npm run build. Configure the server by adding a JSON entry (with command, args, and environment variables) to your AI assistant’s MCP settings file (e.g., for Cline, Cursor, or VS Code). Optionally set GODOT_PATH, DEBUG, or READ_ONLY_MODE environment variables.
Godot 3.5+ or 4.0+ (latest stable recommended).
Yes. Cursor supports both UI-based configuration and a project-specific `.cursor/mcp.json` file; VS Code also works via MCP settings.
Yes. Set the environment variable `READ_ONLY_MODE` to `true` to restrict operations to analysis only.
Cline & Roo Code (full support), Cursor & VS Code, Claude Desktop, and any tool supporting the Model Context Protocol.
Set the `GODOT_PATH` environment variable (e.g., `/usr/bin/godot4`). If not set, the server auto-detects the Godot installation.

Connect your AI assistant to your own YOUB endurance training account. Read recorded activities with full analysis, planned sessions, race goals, wellness (HRV, sleep, resting HR) and your athletic profile. Create or mov
