Anomalyarmor is a data observability MCP server for engineering teams. It provides 53 structured tools to query alerts, monitor freshness, investigate schema drift, configure validity rules, and trace lineage across data warehouses—all through natural language in any MCP client (Claude Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop). Supported warehouses include Snowflake, BigQuery, Postgres, Databricks, Redshift, ClickHouse, MySQL, SQL Server, and AWS Athena.
Connect via remote (recommended) with OAuth 2.1, or locally by installing the Python package (pip install armor-mcp) and providing an API key. For remote, add the server URL https://mcp.anomalyarmor.ai/mcp to your client. For local, configure uvx with the armor-mcp command and set the ARMOR_API_KEY environment variable.
Snowflake, BigQuery, Postgres, Databricks, Redshift, ClickHouse, MySQL, SQL Server, and AWS Athena.
Two methods: Remote (OAuth 2.1, zero‑install, always up to date) via URL `https://mcp.anomalyarmor.ai/mcp`, or Local (API key from the Anomalyarmor app, requires `pip install armor-mcp` and `uvx`).
Tools are grouped into categories: Health & Briefings, Alerts & Incidents, Assets, Freshness, Schema Monitoring, Data Quality, Destinations, Intelligence, Lineage, Tags, and Jobs—each with dedicated MCP ToolAnnotations.
Yes, remote is the recommended method. It uses OAuth 2.1 authentication and requires only a URL configuration—no local installation.
Remote connections use OAuth 2.1 (via Clerk). Local connections require an API key set as the `ARMOR_API_KEY` environment variable.
