What is Peekaboo MCP?

Peekaboo MCP is the MCP server component of Peekaboo, a macOS automation tool that provides high-fidelity screen capture, AI analysis, and complete GUI automation for AI agents. It integrates with AI coding tools such as Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor.

How to use Peekaboo MCP?

Install via npx -y @steipete/peekaboo (requires Node 22+). Configure in your MCP client settings using the provided JSON snippet. Optionally set AI providers via the PEEKABOO_AI_PROVIDERS environment variable or the peekaboo config add command.
