Best MCP Servers for Business, Sales & Marketing (2026)
The best MCP servers for business, sales and marketing in 2026: official CRM, email, analytics, design, research and automation servers, with setup notes.
The best MCP servers for business, sales and marketing in 2026 are the official, vendor-hosted ones for the tools your team already pays for: HubSpot or Salesforce for CRM, Slack and Notion for team context, Google Analytics for reporting, Canva for creative, Apify, Firecrawl or Tavily for research, and Zapier or n8n to reach everything else. Start read-only, connect two or three servers, and add write access only after the agent has earned your trust.
This guide is a curated shortlist, not a dump of every server that mentions "marketing". For each pick you get what it does, who it is for, and the one setup detail that usually trips people up.
How We Picked
- Official first. A server run by the vendor (HubSpot, Slack, Notion, Airtable, Canva, Zapier) follows the product's own permission model and keeps working when the API changes. Community servers are listed only where no official option exists, and labeled as such.
- Remote + OAuth beats local + API key. Most official business servers are hosted endpoints that you sign in to through OAuth. No secrets in config files, and admins can revoke access centrally.
- Permissions you can reason about. Every call should run as a real user, so CRM sharing rules and field-level security still apply.
If MCP itself is new to you, the short version: an MCP server exposes tools (actions) and resources (data) that any MCP client — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex — can use. See MCP resources vs tools for the details.

CRM: Where Sales Agents Actually Earn Their Keep
HubSpot
HubSpot's remote MCP server lives at https://mcp.hubspot.com and lets an agent read, create and update CRM records — contacts, companies, deals, tickets and more — as the signed-in user. HubSpot's own AI connectors for Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot run on it.
- Who it's for: sales and marketing teams already on HubSpot that want "prep me for this call" or "log this meeting and move the deal" in plain English.
- Setup note: add the URL as a remote MCP server and complete the OAuth sign-in. Some custom clients need a client ID and secret from a HubSpot app — HubSpot's integration guide covers that path.
Salesforce
Salesforce has two distinct MCP offerings, and mixing them up is the most common mistake:
- Salesforce Hosted MCP Servers went GA in April 2026 for Enterprise Edition and above. Standard servers such as
sobject-allgive an agent query, search and record CRUD, with every call running as the signed-in user, so sharing rules and field-level security still apply. An admin activates them under Setup → API Catalog → MCP Servers and creates an External Client App for OAuth. - Salesforce DX MCP (
@salesforce/mcp) is a local server for developers and admins: metadata deploys, SOQL, Apex tests and org management. Its README notes the package reaches end of life on November 2, 2026, so new projects should start with the hosted servers.
Who it's for: RevOps and sales teams in enterprise orgs. Setup note: hosted servers need an External Client App with PKCE — classic Connected Apps are not supported for hosted MCP auth.
Airtable
Airtable's official server (https://mcp.airtable.com/mcp) is available on all plans. It searches bases, reads and writes records, edits schema, and can even create automations. Many smaller teams run their lead lists, content calendars and campaign trackers in Airtable, which makes it a de facto CRM. Listing: Airtable MCP Server.
Setup note: OAuth lets each user pick which bases to share; for scripts and CLI agents, use a personal access token with only the scopes you need. What the agent can change follows the user's base role.
Communication and Email
Slack
Slack's official MCP server at https://mcp.slack.com/mcp searches messages, files, channels and users, sends or schedules messages, and creates canvases and lists. For sales, that means "summarize everything said about Acme this quarter" or "post the deal update in #deals".
Setup note: it uses OAuth backed by a registered Slack app (internal or Marketplace-published), and workspace admins approve it like any other app. It does not support Dynamic Client Registration. If you can't get an app approved, the community Slack MCP Server runs locally with your own tokens — fine for personal use, harder to govern for a team.
Gmail
There is no Gmail server from Google in this list. The community Gmail MCP Server is a small, local integration that is good enough for experiments. For production email workflows (send a follow-up, log replies to the CRM), most teams get more control by routing Gmail through Zapier or n8n, covered below, where each action is enabled explicitly.
Analytics and Reporting
Google Analytics
Google's Google Analytics MCP server (marked experimental) runs locally via pipx run analytics-mcp and exposes tools such as run_report, run_funnel_report, run_realtime_report and list_google_ads_links. It is read-only by design.
Who it's for: marketers who want "which channels drove sign-ups last week, compared with the week before?" without opening GA4. Setup note: enable the Google Analytics Admin API and Data API in a Google Cloud project, and create Application Default Credentials with the analytics.readonly scope. For Claude Code:
claude mcp add analytics-mcp \
--scope user \
-e "GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS=PATH_TO_CREDENTIALS_JSON" \
-e "GOOGLE_PROJECT_ID=YOUR_PROJECT_ID" \
-- pipx run analytics-mcp
A community alternative with a different install path is listed at Google Analytics MCP Server.
Content and Creative
Canva
The Canva MCP server lets an agent generate designs from a brief, edit them, search your library, upload assets, export and leave comments. Resizing, autofill, brand kits and brand templates require Canva Pro or above (Canva docs). Ideal for "make three LinkedIn variations of this announcement in our brand kit".
Notion
The official Notion MCP Server is hosted by Notion and authenticated with OAuth, so the agent sees exactly what your Notion account sees. Use it as the source of truth for positioning docs, playbooks and campaign briefs. In Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http notion https://mcp.notion.com/mcp
Research, Prospecting and Social Listening
- Apify — hosted at
https://mcp.apify.com. The agent can search Apify Store and run Actors (ready-made scrapers for maps listings, social profiles, review sites and more), then read the results. Great for building lead lists and monitoring competitors. OAuth is recommended; without a token only the discovery and docs tools work. - Firecrawl — scrapes and parses web pages into clean text, and can search the web. Hosted at
https://mcp.firecrawl.dev/v2/mcp(API key) orhttps://mcp.firecrawl.dev/v2/mcp-oauth(sign-in). Useful for account research before outreach. - Tavily — real-time web search and extraction built for agents; remote at
https://mcp.tavily.com/mcp/with OAuth or an API key. Good for "what has this prospect announced in the last 30 days?"
Respect each site's terms and privacy law when you scrape personal data for prospecting.
E-commerce
Shopify's official Dev MCP server (npx -y @shopify/dev-mcp@latest) helps you build on Shopify — docs search, API schemas, Functions — and needs no authentication, so it does not touch your store. For store data (orders, products, customers), the community Shopify MCP Server wraps the Admin GraphQL API; give it a custom-app token with the narrowest scopes that work.
Automation: Reach Everything Else
Zapier
Zapier MCP is the shortcut when there's no official server for a tool — ad platforms, email marketing, webinar tools, niche CRMs. You create a server at mcp.zapier.com, connect your client through OAuth, and enable only the actions you want the agent to call (Zapier docs). In ChatGPT it requires Developer Mode; see our ChatGPT MCP setup guide.
n8n
n8n has instance-level MCP built in: an owner or admin turns it on under Settings → Instance-level MCP, then exposes individual workflows with the Available in MCP toggle. Clients connect through OAuth or a personal token. That makes your existing lead-routing or enrichment workflows callable as tools, with all the logic still on your own infrastructure. A community n8n MCP Server that talks to the n8n API is listed as an alternative.
Three Starter Stacks
- Solo founder or small team: HubSpot + Gmail via Zapier + Tavily. Prep calls, draft follow-ups, log activity.
- Content and growth marketing: Google Analytics + Notion + Canva + Firecrawl. Find what's working, brief it, design it.
- Enterprise RevOps: Salesforce Hosted MCP + Slack + n8n. CRM truth, team context, and governed automations.
Safety Checklist Before You Connect a CRM
- Start read-only. Add write tools one at a time.
- Prefer OAuth servers, where each user's own permissions apply, over shared API keys.
- Keep the active tool list short — clients degrade with dozens of tools (why).
- Require a human confirmation for anything that sends email, posts publicly or changes deal stages.
- Read MCP security best practices and MCP authentication with OAuth before rolling out to a team.
Next Steps
Pick one workflow your team repeats every week, connect the two servers it needs, and run it read-only for a week. When you're ready for more, browse the full MCP server directory or filter by category.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best MCP server for sales teams?
- For most teams it is the official server for the CRM they already use: HubSpot's remote server at mcp.hubspot.com or Salesforce Hosted MCP Servers for Enterprise Edition orgs. Both run every call as the signed-in user, so existing CRM permissions still apply.
Is there an official HubSpot MCP server?
- Yes. HubSpot runs a generally available remote MCP server at https://mcp.hubspot.com that uses OAuth and can read, create and update CRM records such as contacts, companies, deals and tickets.
Can MCP servers be used for marketing automation?
- Yes. Zapier MCP and n8n's built-in instance-level MCP let an AI agent trigger the automations you enable, while servers like Google Analytics, Canva and Notion cover reporting, creative and briefs. Keep send and publish actions behind a human confirmation.
Are MCP servers safe to connect to a CRM?
- They can be if you prefer official OAuth servers, start read-only, enable write tools one at a time and require approval before anything is sent or changed. Avoid sharing one API key across a team, because it bypasses per-user permissions.
