What is Social Superpowers?
Social Superpowers (https://superpowers.social) is a hosted MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that gives Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and any agent runtime live, read-only tool access to X/Twitter and Reddit. Add the URL to your client and sign in with Google or GitHub when prompted. Free tier available.
How to use Social Superpowers?
Add https://superpowers.social/mcp to any MCP client over Streamable HTTP and sign in with Google or GitHub when prompted. Clients without MCP OAuth can use an API key from https://superpowers.social/account, sent as Authorization: Bearer sk_live_.... The server exposes ten read-only tools (five for X/Twitter, five for Reddit).

The free tier has a daily call limit per account, shared across every connected app and your API key. Your current allowance and usage are shown at superpowers.social/account.
Are the tools read-only?
Yes, all ten tools are read-only and idempotent. They are designed for search and retrieval of public X/Twitter and Reddit content.
Where does the server run and is the code open-source?
The hosted gateway is closed-source; only the public manifest, examples and docs are open-source under MIT. The MCP endpoint is maintained by Superpowers.social.
