Seedance MCP Server enables Claude Code to directly generate AI videos using the Volcano Engine Seedance 2.0 model. Install globally via npm install -g seedance-mcp, then configure the MCP server in your Claude Desktop settings with either a Pro License Key (zero‑configuration, unlimited usage) or a free ARK API Key (limited, 5 videos/day). Videos can be 5 to 15 seconds long, in 720p or 1080p resolution, with aspect ratios 16:9, 9:16, or 1:1.

Can I generate a video from an existing image?

Yes, the `image_to_video` tool uses an uploaded image as the first frame or as a style reference for the generated video.
