What is Papersflow?

Papersflow is a production/GA hosted MCP server for literature search, citation verification, related-paper discovery, and authenticated research workflows across MCP clients such as Claude, Codex, Gemini, and ChatGPT-style apps.

How to use Papersflow?

Use the production MCP endpoint URL https://doxa.papersflow.ai/mcp with transport type streamable-http. Configure in your MCP client (e.g., Cline, Codex, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or ChatGPT-style apps). For Gemini CLI, install via gemini extensions install https://github.com/papersflow-ai/papersflow-mcp and complete OAuth with /mcp auth papersflow-mcp.

What tools does Papersflow offer?

Public tools include search, fetch, verify_citation, search_literature, find_related_papers, get_citation_graph, get_paper_neighbors, and expand_citation_graph.

How do I authenticate with Papersflow?

OAuth is required for authenticated tools. Cline will open a browser for OAuth sign-in on first use. In Gemini CLI, run `/mcp auth papersflow-mcp` then `/mcp refresh` and `/mcp list`.

Papersflow supports Cline (VS Code), Codex, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, and ChatGPT-style hosted MCP apps.

No local runtime; it's a hosted MCP server accessed via HTTP with streamable-http transport. OAuth credentials are managed through the PapersFlow platform.
