Fyndling is an MCP server that gives AI clients direct access to three niche European datasets: 2,000+ medieval events (markets, concerts, castle experiences, living‑history events) across 20 European countries, permanent points of interest (meaderies, mead producers, castles, medieval restaurants), and 1,100+ historical recipes from six cookbooks spanning the 13th–17th century. It is built for medieval market fans, reenactors, and living‑history enthusiasts.
Add the server to your MCP client configuration with the URL https://fyndling.de/mcp. No authentication or API key is required. The server uses Streamable HTTP transport (MCP spec 2025‑03‑26) and is rate‑limited to 60 requests per minute.
Fyndling provides medieval events (2,000+ across 20 countries, updated weekly), permanent POIs (meaderies, mead producers, castles, medieval restaurants), and 1,100+ historical recipes from six 13th–17th‑century cookbooks.
No authentication is needed. The server has no auth requirements and is publicly accessible.
The server allows 60 requests per minute.
Events cover Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, Portugal, UK, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Lithuania, and more.
Recipes come from six historical cookbooks (e.g. *The Forme of Cury*, *Ménagier de Paris*) in their original languages. Modern German adaptations are provided under CC BY‑SA 4.0; original medieval texts are in the public domain.
