What is Draxlr

Draxlr is a no-code BI and analytics platform. The Draxlr MCP server exposes your connected databases, saved queries, and dashboards to AI assistants over the Model Context Protocol, so tools like Claude can work directly against your existing BI setup instead of a separate copy of your data.

What it does

• List connected databases and inspect table schemas
• Run read-only SQL against your databases
• Create, update, and run saved queries
• List and read dashboards, and add queries to them as widgets
• Export query results and dashboards to CSV or Excel
• Provide access to your customers with context-awareness, so each one sees only their own rows

Row-level security

Draxlr applies row-level security (RLS) transparently. Two members can run the same query and get different results, because each member's filter is applied automatically. You never rewrite queries per user or maintain separate views.

Paired with dashboard-only access, this lets you hand customers and external stakeholders a live view of their own data without exposing anyone else's rows or your underlying databases. It turns one shared dashboard into a per-customer view, which is the same context-awareness that makes Draxlr practical for embedded, customer-facing analytics.

Getting started

1. Sign in to Draxlr and connect a database.
2. Add the config above to your MCP client.
3. Authenticate with OAuth when prompted.
4. Ask your assistant to list databases or run a query.
