What is Create Prints?

Create Prints is a remote MCP server that turns artwork in a conversation into a physical print delivered to your door. An assistant can generate or import an image, show only the print products that image actually fits, quote real prices and postage, hand over a secure checkout link, and follow the order through production to a tracking number.

Prints are made to order and fulfilled locally for Great Britain and United States delivery, so nothing goes to waste.

What an assistant can do

• Plan for the room. Measure the palette of an uploaded interior photo, or take a brief by room type, then score candidate artwork for how well it will sit on that wall.
• Make the artwork. Generate from a text prompt, or import an image already in the chat.
• Price the print. List compatible sizes, formats, frame colours and mounts with exact product prices and single-item postage for GB or US.
• Hand off checkout. Return a Create Prints checkout URL. Payment and delivery details are entered by the person, in their browser — never in chat.
• Track the order. Poll payment, production and shipment status through to carrier and tracking number.

The endpoint uses Streamable HTTP and OAuth 2.0, so Claude Code, Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code can all connect to it. Your client walks you through authorising an account on first connect; an account API key sent as a bearer token works too. Public product and price discovery is available without an account.

New accounts get five artwork-generation credits per month.

Read-only tools advertise readOnlyHint, so compatible clients can auto-approve them.

A typical flow

1. list_print_options so the person picks a size — the variant decides the aspect ratio the artwork must be generated at.
2. create_artwork with that size, or import_artwork for an image already in the chat.
3. get_artwork_status until the artwork is purchasable.
4. list_print_options again, filtered to the generated size, and list_frame_options for framed variants.
5. create_print_checkout, then send the person the checkout link.
6. get_checkout_status through to shipment and tracking.

Privacy and safety

The server holds no payment, card or address data. Card details are handled on the Create Prints checkout page by Stripe. API keys and OAuth tokens travel in the Authorization header and are never logged. Room photos are analysed in memory and are not stored.
