AgileHero: agile project management your AI agents can run

AgileHero is all-in-one agile project management: kanban board, backlog, roadmap, whiteboards, retrospectives, metrics and a wiki in one workspace. This remote MCP server lets your AI agent work across every one of those modules on its own, while your team follows progress in a clean, real-time UI.

What your agent can do

• Board & backlog: create, update and move cards and epics; add checklists, labels, comments, links and dependencies; search across the project
• Roadmap: plan and reshuffle roadmap slots
• Whiteboards: draw elements and diagrams, then convert sticky notes into cards and mind maps into epics with cards
• Retrospectives: create retros, add items and move them between columns
• Wiki: create and edit pages, with a preview step before any change is written
• Metrics: read velocity, flow and attention summaries

Rich text uses AgileHero Markup (AHM), a strict XML format built so agents can't corrupt content that people wrote.

Connect

• Endpoint: https://mcp.agilehero.io/mcp (Streamable HTTP)
• Sign-in: OAuth 2.1 from your AI client. There's no API key to create or paste.
• Permissions: the client acts as you, with exactly your permissions. Every connected client appears under Settings → AI clients, where you can revoke it.
• Works with: Claude (web, desktop, Cowork), Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, VS Code (GitHub Copilot), Zed, GitHub Copilot CLI

How it was checked:

• Every capability matches actual tools in our MCP server. That includes the whiteboard conversions, the retro tools, and the preview step on wiki edits.
• The client list is the set of setup guides in our MCP docs, minus Cursor.
• No tool count. Your earlier rule: it goes stale.
• It also helps with "No tools detected". Their automatic check can't list our tools because of the OAuth sign-in, so the "What your agent can do" section describes them for readers instead.
