Search the USER'S COLLECTION by title, creator, genre, or theme. Returns items they own with status, ratings, and for box sets, the list of contained albums. Use this to answer questions about what the user has.

Get FULL details of an item FROM THE USER'S COLLECTION including AI analysis, user notes, rating, timeline, and all metadata. For albums: includes track list with durations. For box sets: lists ALL contained albums. Use this to answer specific questions about items the user owns.

Get collection statistics including progress, rating distribution, genre/theme breakdown, and timeline. If no media_type specified, returns combined stats.

Update status. Books: unread, reading, finished, abandoned. Movies/shows/anime: unwatched, watching, watched, abandoned. Albums: unheard, listening, played, saved.

Set or update user rating (1-5 stars).

Add or update personal notes for an item.

Get items filtered by user rating range.

Semantic search within an uploaded book (EPUB/PDF). Uses AI embeddings to find relevant passages.

Read a specific section of an uploaded book by line numbers.

Update status for multiple items at once.

Pick random item(s) for serendipitous discovery.

What is Achriom?

Achriom is one personal library for everything you read, watch, listen to and play: books, films, TV shows, albums, anime, podcasts, games and manga. Its MCP server gives any AI client 55 tools and 15 librarian prompts over that library.

What your AI client can do

  • Search by title, creator, genre or theme, or by meaning across the whole library
  • Read and write: add items, rate, set status, notes, priority and dates, log rewatches and rereads, with undo
  • Lists: cross-media lists, private, shared by link, or public
  • Recommendations from people with overlapping taste, across media, drawn from other libraries in aggregate
  • Taste Portrait: the member's archetype, core themes and the tension in their taste
  • Public page: favorites, reviews and hidden items
  • Extras: Apple Music album previews, YouTube search, search inside uploaded books
