What is Myai?

Myai is an MCP server for the MyAi decentralized AI inference network. It gives any MCP-compatible agent (such as Claude Desktop or Cursor) access to tools for running inference, listing available models, browsing provider nodes, checking network health, querying wallet balances, and hiring specific agents.

How to use Myai?

Install with uvx myai-mcp or pip install myai-mcp. Configure by adding to your Claude Desktop config with MYAI_API_KEY and MYAI_BASE_URL environment variables, or run with no env vars for a free-tier API key automatically issued on first call (cached at ~/.myai/key). Get an API key at myaitoken.io.

What is Myai compatible with?

It works with any MCP-compatible agent, including Claude Desktop and Cursor.

Do I need an API key to use Myai?

You can set a custom `MYAI_API_KEY` environment variable, or run with no env vars and Myai will auto-issue a free-tier API key (100 free completions per machine) on first call, cached at `~/.myai/key`.

Installation requires either `uvx` (via `uv`) or `pip`. No other runtime dependencies are mentioned.
