Excalidraw MCP is a Model Context Protocol server that lets AI assistants generate 20+ types of hand-drawn diagrams — flowcharts, architecture, sequence, mind maps, ER, class, and more — using Excalidraw format. It provides Sugiyama hierarchical auto-layout, CJK text support, and the ability to read, modify, and export existing .excalidraw files.

How to use Excalidraw MCP?

Add it to Claude Desktop by editing your MCP config with "command": "uvx", "args": ["maaker-excalidraw-mcp"]. For Claude Code, run claude mcp add excalidraw -- uvx maaker-excalidraw-mcp. It can also be installed
