What dependencies are required?

How does authentication work?

Start the server, open the URL printed in the console, authorize the app in your browser, then copy the authorization code. Run `npx ts-node src/auth-helper.ts "YOUR_AUTH_CODE"` to save the refresh token to your `.env` file.

Where are credentials stored and how secure are they?

Credentials (OAuth client ID, secret, redirect URI, and refresh token) are stored in the `.env` file. The server runs locally, so your calendar data never passes through external servers, and refresh tokens should be kept secure.

What tools/commands does the server expose?

The server provides tools: `list_calendars`, `list_events`, `create_event`, `get_event`, `update_event`, `delete_event`, `find_available_slots`, and `get_upcoming_meetings`. Each accepts parameters like calendar ID, time range, search term, attendees, etc.

Can it be run in a Docker container?

Yes. The recommended method is to build and run with `docker-compose up -d`. A pre-built Docker image `daemonx10/google-calendar-mcp:latest` is also available via `docker pull`.
