Lets agents drive a running Obsidian app through the official Obsidian CLI: read, create, append to and search notes, manage tasks and properties, and reload plugins, run JavaScript or capture errors while developing plugins and themes.
Install obsidian-cli

Requires Obsidian to be open; obsidian help lists every available command
Targets notes with file=<name> (resolved like a wikilink) or path=<path>, and a vault with vault=<name>
Common commands: obsidian read, create (with template and silent), append and search query=... limit=...
Plugin and theme development: reload plugins, run JavaScript, capture errors, take screenshots and inspect the DOM
From kepano (Steph Ango, Obsidian CEO), MIT licensed. Install all Obsidian skills with /plugin marketplace add kepano/obsidian-skills then /plugin install obsidian@obsidian-skills in Claude Code, or npx skills add https://github.com/kepano/obsidian-skills
