Vamos MCP Server is the hosted MCP endpoint for Vamos, an AI social media strategist, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other assistants can research live social content and write posts in your brand voice from chat.
Vamos follows competitors and creators on social platforms, finds the posts that perform well in your niche, and turns them into scripts, posts, briefs and plans. The Vamos MCP server exposes that work to any MCP client at https://mcp.getvamos.ai/mcp. Usage draws on the same workspace credits as the Vamos app, with no surcharge.
You need a Vamos account. The free plan gives 100 one-time credits with no card required. The server uses OAuth: when you connect, a browser tab opens where you sign in to Vamos and approve access. There is no API key to copy. Vamos also shows the server address in the app under Settings → Connectors.
Server URL:
https://mcp.getvamos.ai/mcp
https://mcp.getvamos.ai/mcp as the remote MCP server URL.On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner adds the connector once under Organization settings → Connectors, and members then click Connect.
claude mcp add --transport http vamos https://mcp.getvamos.ai/mcp
Run /mcp inside Claude Code and complete the browser sign-in.
Add the server to ~/.cursor/mcp.json or the project's .cursor/mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"vamos": {
"url": "https://mcp.getvamos.ai/mcp"
}
}
}
Cursor prompts you to sign in to Vamos the first time the server connects.
Add the server to .vscode/mcp.json:
{
"servers": {
"vamos": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://mcp.getvamos.ai/mcp"
}
}
}
Vamos also documents setup for ChatGPT and Manus in its help center, and says any MCP-compatible client can use the same URL.
Yes. Vamos publishes the server at `https://mcp.getvamos.ai/mcp` and documents it on its own MCP page and help center.
Using it costs no extra. MCP calls draw on your workspace credits at the same rates as in-app chat. Vamos has a free plan with 100 one-time credits and no card. Pro is $29 per month ($351 billed yearly) with 2,000 monthly credits, and Business is $74 per month ($891 billed yearly) with 6,000 monthly credits.
No. You sign in to Vamos in a browser tab and approve access, and the client keeps the connection.
Vamos gives setup steps for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Manus and mentions Codex. Any MCP client that supports remote Streamable HTTP servers can use the same URL, including Claude Code and VS Code.
The Vamos MCP page lists TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and X.
No. You add public handles to research. Vamos doesn't ask you to log in to those accounts or approve permissions on them.
Resubmitting a long research request starts a second run, and each run is billed. Wait for the first one to finish.
The Vamos remote MCP server is a hosted Model Context Protocol endpoint at https://mcp.getvamos.ai/mcp, so AI assistants can connect to it without installing or running anything locally.
Add the endpoint https://mcp.getvamos.ai/mcp to any MCP-compatible client such as Claude Code, Cursor, or VS Code. The setup snippets on this page configure each client in one step.
Yes. Vamos uses OAuth: the first time you connect, your MCP client opens a browser window to sign in and authorize access, then reuses the credentials for future sessions.
Vamos exposes a streamable-http endpoint, the transport used by remote MCP servers and supported by all major MCP clients.
