Truee is a verified business directory for Africa. The Truee MCP server gives AI agents access to search, filter, and retrieve detailed profiles of verified African businesses — with contact info, location, services, branches, and verification status. It uses HTTP JSON-RPC transport (MCP 2024-11-05) and requires an API key for authentication.

How to use Truee?

Sign up at usetruee.com to get an API key. Configure the server by adding the endpoint https://api.usetruee.com/mcp and your API key in the x-api-key header to your MCP client (e.g., Claude Desktop or Cursor). Then use the provided tools: search_businesses (AI-powered query), query_businesses (keyword-based, cheaper), get_business (by ID/slug), and list_categories.
