Proxy Veil

@Goldentrii

Residential proxy MCP server for AI agents — bypass Cloudflare/Akamai, geo-target 195+ countries, sticky sessions. Multi-provider: Novada, BrightData, Smartproxy, Oxylabs.

Overview

What is Proxy Veil?

Proxy Veil is an MCP server that routes HTTP requests from AI agents through a residential proxy network of 2M+ real home devices. It helps bypass anti-bot systems like Cloudflare and Akamai, supports geo-targeting by country and city, and maintains sticky sessions across multi-step workflows. It is built for AI agents that need to access blocked or geo-restricted web content.

How to use Proxy Veil?

Install the server with npx -y bestproxy4agents and configure it via environment variables for your chosen proxy provider. Add it to any MCP‑compatible client (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, Continue) using the appropriate install method. The server exposes five tools: agentproxy_fetch, agentproxy_session, agentproxy_search, agentproxy_render, and agentproxy_status.

FAQ from Proxy Veil

What is Proxy Veil?

Proxy Veil is an MCP server that gives AI agents access to residential proxy IPs, enabling them to bypass anti‑bot systems and retrieve content from blocked websites.

What proxy providers are supported?

Proxy Veil supports Novada (default, recommended), BrightData, Smartproxy, Oxylabs, and any standard HTTP proxy via the generic adapter. The first configured provider in priority order is used.

What are the runtime requirements?

The server requires Node.js 18 or later. It is installed via npm (npx -y bestproxy4agents) and runs as a stdio MCP server.

How do I get credentials?

Credentials are obtained from each provider’s dashboard. For Novada, sign up at novada.com (no credit card required) and get proxy user/password from the Residential Proxies endpoint generator. Other providers have similar dashboards.

What is the difference between the fetch, session, search, and render tools?

agentproxy_fetch fetches a single URL through a residential proxy. agentproxy_session keeps the same IP across calls with a session ID. agentproxy_search returns structured Google search results. agentproxy_render executes JavaScript in a real Chromium browser and returns the rendered page.
