Overview

Privatrak is cookieless website and product analytics. Its MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Codex answer questions about your traffic and, with write access, set up your tracking for you, without code changes.

What you can ask

  • "Where did our visitors come from last week, and which campaigns worked?"
  • "Where do people drop off between the product page and checkout?"
  • "Which buttons do people click that don't do anything?"
  • "Compare sign-ups this month with last month."

Answers come with the counts behind every percentage, and periods that would compare against incomplete data are flagged instead of guessed.

What it can set up

With "Read and write" access, the assistant can:

  • create feature rules that name what people click, without touching your code
  • build and check funnels before saving them
  • create dashboards and add charts to them
  • mark click problems as fixed or ignored

Every change goes into a run that you can undo in one step, from the assistant or from Settings → AI assistant changes in Privatrak. If someone changed something after the assistant did, undo leaves it alone and reverts the rest.

Tools

44 tools: overview, pages, sources, campaigns, features, insights queries, funnels and trends, user journeys, clicked elements, click problems, project setup, setup runs with undo, and a search over Privatrak's own documentation.

Connect

  • Server URL: https://api.privatrak.com/mcp

Frequently asked questions

1

What is the Privatrak remote MCP server?

The Privatrak remote MCP server is a hosted Model Context Protocol endpoint at https://api.privatrak.com/mcp, so AI assistants can connect to it without installing or running anything locally.

2

How do I connect to the Privatrak MCP server?

Add the endpoint https://api.privatrak.com/mcp to any MCP-compatible client such as Claude Code, Cursor, or VS Code. The setup snippets on this page configure each client in one step.

3

Does the Privatrak MCP server require authentication?

Yes. Privatrak uses OAuth: the first time you connect, your MCP client opens a browser window to sign in and authorize access, then reuses the credentials for future sessions.

4

Which transport does the Privatrak MCP server use?

Privatrak exposes a Streamable HTTP endpoint, the transport used by remote MCP servers and supported by all major MCP clients.
