About Pidgeon MCP Server

Email inboxes for AI agents. Give an agent its own address in one call; it sends, receives and replies in threads, waits for a sign-up code and gets it back already extracted, and hands a conversation to a person when it should. Every arriving message comes with a prompt-injection verdict. Hosted in the EU.

Overview

Pidgeon: email inboxes for AI agents

Pidgeon gives an AI agent an email address of its own, over MCP, REST, SDKs or a CLI.

What your agent can do

  • Create an address in one call, on our domain or yours
  • Send, reply and search in real threads
  • Wait for a sign-up code: one call holds until the email arrives and returns the code and confirmation link already extracted
  • Hand a conversation to a person, and take it back: the thread owner is one call
  • Label, draft and organise what it has handled

Built to be safe with strangers' mail

  • Every arriving message comes with a prompt-injection verdict before your agent acts on it
  • Forged senders don't count: an allow-listed sender must pass DMARC
  • Scoped keys: read, read-and-draft, send or admin, per address, with test keys that never deliver outside

Frequently asked questions

1

What is the Pidgeon remote MCP server?

The Pidgeon remote MCP server is a hosted Model Context Protocol endpoint at https://pidgeon.ai/api/mcp, so AI assistants can connect to it without installing or running anything locally.

2

How do I connect to the Pidgeon MCP server?

Add the endpoint https://pidgeon.ai/api/mcp to any MCP-compatible client such as Claude Code, Cursor, or VS Code. The setup snippets on this page configure each client in one step.

3

Does the Pidgeon MCP server require authentication?

Yes. Pidgeon uses OAuth: the first time you connect, your MCP client opens a browser window to sign in and authorize access, then reuses the credentials for future sessions.

4

Which transport does the Pidgeon MCP server use?

Pidgeon exposes a Streamable HTTP endpoint, the transport used by remote MCP servers and supported by all major MCP clients.
