Parquet MCP Server by CData is a read-only Model Context Protocol server that lets LLMs like Claude Desktop query Parquet data using natural language. It wraps the CData JDBC Driver for Parquet to expose Parquet files as relational SQL models.
How to use Parquet MCP Server by CData?
Clone the repository, build with Maven, then install and license the CData JDBC Driver for Parquet. Configure a JDBC connection string using the driver’s utility, create a .prp file with connection properties, and either add the server to your Claude Desktop config or run it independently with java -jar CDataMCP-jar-with-dependencies.jar <path-to-prp>.
